We are excited to invite you to join us for the Who Cares? Hampshire Vision night. This will be an evening of contemporary worship, prayer, interviews, and messages from Roy Crowne and David Williams.
On the evening we will be joined by Roy Crowne who leads HOPE Together which has motivated thousands of church to share the love of Christ with their communities in partnership with other local churches. We will also be joined by David Williams, the Bishop of Basingstoke and hear a special message from Rob Tervet who created and piloted the Who Cares? strategy in Norfolk in 2011. Worship will be led by local musicians.
During the evening we will be learning more about the plans for Who Cares? Hampshire in 2017 and inviting you to commit to being involved with your church.
At the heart of the campaign is the question "What hurts the most?" or put another way "What is the one thing that you find difficult to handle?" Everyone has an answer to this question. Your neighbours, colleagues and family members are all able to identify things that cause them pain. As followers of Jesus we know that even when no one else seems to care, God cares! He cares enough that he sent his son Jesus to this earth to die for us.
As we seek to bring this Good News to Hampshire it is exciting that we are able to work together as thousands of Christians from a hundred or more churches. Already many of us are involved in supporting Christian Charities and Voluntary Organisations bringing practical support to demonstrate that we care because God cares. We have invited many of these organisations to take part in an exhibition to promote their work during the evening.
