Thy Kingdom Come | Beacon Event

  • Winchester Cathedral 9 The Close Winchester SO23 9LS

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are calling upon churches across England to join together to pray for the proclamation of Jesus across this land, in the nine days leading up to Pentecost Sunday on 15th May.

This time of prayer will culminate in six ‘Beacon Events’ around the country over Pentecost weekend, where people will pray for the renewal of the Church by the Holy Spirit and greater confidence to share the Gospel. One of these Beacon Events will take place at Winchester Cathedral.

Watch the Right Reverend David Williams, Bishop of Basingstoke, introduce the cycle of prayer and the Beacon Event.
