As we begin 2017, we will take time out as a church family to reflect on all that God has done during 2016 and pray for what the upcoming year has in store. Specifically, we'll pray for some of the things that are planned, such as Who Cares?, as well as for people, churches and situations that are affecting us and the world around us.
Each evening we will gather at 8 pm and pray for an hour, except on Wednesday evening when we will spend longer together, including refreshments from half an hour before, to coincide with our monthly Connect Together evenings. On the final Saturday, we will enjoy breakfast with one another before spending the morning in prayer. Please enter your name at the bottom of this page to reserve your free breakfast. For those who can't manage a whole morning, feel free to arrive later, or leave sooner, if that means you can come to some of this final morning. Please join us for as many of the sessions as you are able.

Many times in the bible we see people fasting alongside their praying. This is a valuable discipline that is to be encouraged. Please consider fasting during the Week of Prayer. This might be as simple as missing one or two meals and turning the time you would have spent eating over to praying. Some of you may even consider fasting for the whole week. For normally healthy people fasting poses no significant danger so long as you continue to drink plenty of water. You will, of course, feel hungry, and possibly grumpy! That is just your body complaining and is a reminder to pray. If you have a medical condition such as diabetes then fasting from food is not a good idea but you could fast from something else like TV or the internet instead.
